Baton Rouge outdoor floor lamp on 258 cm post, 4-light lantern

A walnut street lamp with a scalloped lantern

The long, slender steel post is punctuated with moulded rings and stands on a flared, faceted base. At the top, the lantern opens out like a tulip: domed glass tinted honey colour, a frame cut into scallops, and a cap crowned with a finial. The walnut shade is a dark brown where the raised details take on a golden gleam.

Four E14 light sources to light from above

Four E14 lampholders each accept a bulb of 60 W maximum; no bulbs are supplied with the floor lamp. It works with a dimmer. Warm white LED flame bulbs keep the look of a candle lantern. The IP44 rating protects it from rain and splashes. It must be earthed (Class I).

A 258 cm post to anchor securely

At 258 cm high and weighing 10.49 kg, the floor lamp needs a proper anchoring: a concrete block or slab, with the cable entering through a conduit. The lantern is 33 cm wide; leave clearance from branches and walls. Near a gate, it serves as a landmark at night. To mark out a path at a lower height, the series is also available in a shorter version.
