A black cast aluminium street lamp

A flared hexagonal base, a long column marked with rings, then the lantern: the silhouette follows that of old street lamps. The lantern keeps the bulb-shaped roof, the cut-out frieze and the clear granulated glass dotted with bubbles. The finial at the top completes the piece.

Lighting a courtyard or an entrance

Three E14 lampholders, 60 W maximum each, supplied without bulbs. Perched at the top of the post, the lantern spreads light over a wide area of ground. A dimmer can be used with bulbs that support it. The IP44 rating allows installation in the open, in the rain.

Anchoring and connection

At 242.6 cm tall and weighing 8.73 kg, this lamp post needs a solid anchorage: a concrete foundation or a thick slab, with suitable anchor bolts. Run the power supply through buried conduit and have the connection made by an electrician: Class I fitting, to be earthed. Elstead guarantees the range for 3 years against corrosion.
