About this light

This up and down outdoor wall light with dusk sensor is a black cylinder, 9 cm in diameter, set away from the wall by a square bracket and lighting from both ends. A sensor switches it on at nightfall and off at daybreak. Two GU10 lampholders, bulbs not included, for a façade, a porch or a terrace wall.

Description

A smooth cylinder set off the wall

The tube, in a single black shade, is smooth: no grooves and no visible screws in the photo. A square-section bracket connects it to the façade, and the whole fitting projects 16 cm. The lampshade combines stainless steel and glass, the latter closing both ends where the beams come out.

Two GU10 bulbs controlled by light levels

Two GU10 bulbs of 35 W maximum each, not supplied, light both upwards and downwards, drawing two streaks of light on the wall. The dusk sensor switches the light on at sunset and off at sunrise. Thanks to its IP44 rating, rain won't stop it: an exposed façade or the underside of a canopy are both suitable.

Dimensions and positioning

At 20.2 cm high, the wall light fits on either side of a French window or along a terrace wall. For a light-column effect, line up several units at the same height, around 1.80 m, keeping the sensor away from the light of another lamp.
