Black aluminium and copper street lamp
According to Netlighting, the post and brackets are made of black powder-coated aluminium, and the lantern of hand-shaped copper. The fairly slim shaft rises from a wide base, passes a horizontal crossbar, then meets a basket of scrolled arms that carries the lantern with its polycarbonate panels. The copper develops a natural patina when left outdoors.
A single bulb, not included
The lantern holds one E27 lampholder for a bulb of up to 60 W, sold separately. For path lighting left on for long hours, a warm white LED keeps consumption down; if dimmable, it can also be turned down with a dimmer. IP44 protects against rain and splashes: it can stay out in an open garden without shelter. Class II.
Where and how to install it
Its height is adjustable from 230 to 320 cm, and the whole unit measures 42 cm at its widest point. Leave clearance around the head, away from low branches. Plan for a concrete footing and a buried conduit to bring the cable to the base, and have the connection carried out by an electrician.
