Black post and double arm
The round base supports a thicker shaft at the bottom, which then tapers towards the top. There, two curved arms extend to either side and sweep down towards the lanterns. Each one combines a dome, stacked discs and a clear polycarbonate globe. According to the manufacturer, the steel is hot-dip galvanised and then painted black.
Two E27 light points
Two E27 bulbs are required, 60 W each at most, not supplied with the floor lamp. If dimmable, they let you control the lighting with a dimmer. The two lanterns light the ground on either side of the post. IP55 rating: protected against dust and water jets, it can stay outdoors in all seasons. Class II means no earth conductor is needed.
Installing an 11.43 kg floor lamp
The telescopic post places the lanterns between 170 and 238 cm above the ground; at the top, the unit measures 74 cm wide and 27 cm deep. With 11.43 kg at height, it must be fixed to a concrete base sized for a post, with the power supply run through buried conduit. Leave sufficient clearance around the lanterns if a hedge or tree is nearby.
