About this light

Galvanised garden floor lamp from the Lund range: a zinc grey post rises to a short arm that holds the conical shade and its clear lens, in the style of Nordic harbour lamps. It marks out a path, lights a property entrance or the garden dining area. Its height adjusts from 170 to 238 cm. It takes an E27 bulb up to 60 W, sold separately.

Description

The raw metal of a quayside lamp

The galvanised steel mast keeps its raw finish, a light grey with a slightly mottled look. A ring marks the join between the two sections of the post, and the upper arm sets the head forward. The conical lampshade, 32 cm in diameter, covers a clear polycarbonate lens. This version is the twin of the Lund galvanised wall light, handy for matching façade and garden.

Light and protection

One E27 bulb of 60 W maximum, not included, dimmer compatible if you choose a dimmable one. With LED, a 2700 K or 3000 K colour temperature suits garden lighting. IP55 rating: the floor lamp withstands heavy rain, splashing water and dust deposits. Class II means no earth connection is needed.

Ground installation

The base plate is bolted to a masonry foundation; the post slides to set the head between 170 and 238 cm above the ground. The head projects 45 cm from the mast, which is worth bearing in mind near a hedge or a wall. The floor lamp weighs 8.69 kg; the power cable enters through the base.
