About this light

The low version of Djambe, this outdoor table lamp in a black metal cage has a flattened profile: a network of diagonally crossed rods encloses two solid discs. On the ground or on a low garden table, it casts a pattern of luminous diamonds around it. The 18 W LED is integrated and supplied.

Description

A network of black diamonds

The black metal is worked into curved rods that cross to form a lattice of diamonds. The shape widens at the centre and flattens towards the top and bottom, where two solid plates close the structure. At 8 kg, it is the heavier of the two Djambe versions, which makes it hard to knock over on a terrace.

Warm white and rain resistance

Nothing to buy for the light source: the integrated 18 W LED is included, in 3000 K. The light, emitted indirectly, passes through the lattice and does not shine into the eyes. An integrated switch turns it on, with no dimming possible. Thanks to its IP44 rating, it withstands showers; a spot under an awning, on a balcony or against the façade is still the most suitable.

Designed to sit low

Its wide base suits the ground, near a garden set or an entrance, where a tall lamp would get in the way of the view.
