Description

An opal plastic sphere

The globe is made of opal plastic, a milky white that hides the bulb and reveals only an evenly lit ball. It measures 20 cm in both diameter and height and weighs 1.2 kg. Its light weight means you can move it with one hand as the evening unfolds.

E27 lampholder and bulb of your choice

Sole takes a bulb with an E27 cap, with a stated maximum power of 42 W; the bulb is not included. Choose a warm white E27 LED for a soft glow, or a more neutral one for a cooler look. The technical sheet indicates variable intensity: in that case, choose a dimmable LED bulb. Class II (double insulation) means no earth connection is needed. IP65 rating: the sphere withstands rain as well as water jets, and can stay out on an uncovered terrace, beside a path or on an exposed balcony.

Where to place it

Several balls spread along a terrace or at the foot of a flower bed create a discreet trail of light.
