Bayview black post lantern, bevelled glass, 39.3 cm

A square lantern in black aluminium

The black lacquered aluminium body frames four bevelled glass panels, whose edges catch the light. The curved roof ends in a ball finial. Beneath the lantern, a short stem widens into a faceted square base, giving a firm seating on masonry.

E27 lampholder behind clear glass

The E27 lampholder accepts up to 60 W, and the bulb is not included; the lantern can be connected to a dimmer if the chosen bulb is dimmable. As the glass reveals the light source, a filament LED keeps the look of a lantern from days gone by. Rated IP44, the Bayview withstands rain: it can stay outdoors on a pillar, against a facade or under a canopy.

Installation on a pillar cap

The base measures 18 cm per side: check that the top of the pillar or low wall offers this flat surface. Bring the cable to the centre of the support before fixing the base, which weighs only 1.53 kg. Class I appliance, to be connected to earth.
