Moulded column and glazed lantern

Everything is made of black aluminium. The smooth column, punctuated by bands, rests on a moulded square base. At the top, the lantern has four faces of clear bevelled glass, a curved roof and a finial ball, in the style of quayside lanterns.

E27 bulb and use in the rain

Use an E27 bulb of 60 W maximum, supplied separately, in a dimmable version if you connect it to a dimmer. A warm white LED avoids an overly cold glare behind the clear glass. The IP44 rating means it can be left out in the middle of the garden: rain and splashes from watering will not affect it.

Positioning along a path

Just over a metre above the ground, the light falls on the path without dazzling. For a walkway, space several bollard lights 4 to 6 m apart. At 2.93 kg, it needs a flower bed or an anchored base plate, where the cable arrives in a sheath; Class I requires earthing.
