About this light

Outdoor globe pier lantern from the Halleron collection: a clear bubbled glass sphere, girded by an openwork gallery, houses three E14 candle bulbs. It stands on a turned balustrade base in burnished bronze and rises to 69.6 cm. It dresses a gate pier, the foot of a staircase or an entrance wall.

Description

Glass sphere and balustrade base

The aluminium and burnished bronze brass frame traces meridians around the globe, which an openwork band cuts at the equator. A finial crowns the sphere. The base stacks rings, swellings and a beaded frieze down to a round foot of 30.5 cm.

Three E14 candle bulbs

Three E14 lampholders, 40 W maximum each, bulbs to be purchased separately, dimmer compatible if the bulbs are dimmable. Clear flame-shaped LEDs show off the bubbles in the glass. IP44 allows it to stay out in the rain, on an uncovered pier.

A light to be fixed on a pier

Its height and globe make it a gate pier piece rather than a path border light. The pier cap must be wider than the diameter of the base. Class I, earthing required.
