About this light

An outdoor pedestal lantern in black with Victorian inspiration, the 51 cm Chicago sits on a pillar or low wall. Its clear bubble glass bell is sheltered under a scalloped cap topped with a finial, and rests on a fluted square base. The textured black aluminium hides marks well. E27 bulb not included.

Description

Scalloped cap and fluted base

The two-tier cap, edged with small teeth, ends in an acorn-shaped point. The glass bell flares towards the top, above a short fluted stem set on a square base. The textured finish gives the aluminium a matt grain.

E27 bulb and IP44

The E27 lampholder accepts a maximum of 60 W; no bulb is included. If connected to a dimmer, it needs a dimmable bulb. The IP44 rating lets it withstand rain on an uncovered pillar.

Dimensions

Allow 23.5 cm in diameter for the cap and 1.94 kg to support. On a gate pillar, place one on each side to frame the entrance. Earth wire required (Class I).
