Description

An earth-coloured floodlight

The tubular body in coffee-finish aluminium, closed by a glass cover, ends in a visor that limits lateral glare. A joint connects it to the spike, and a black cable exits at the back. It weighs only 0.37 kg and is 6.5 cm wide.

Adjustable head, G9 cap

According to the retailer's description, the head tilts to aim precisely at the area to be highlighted. The G9 lampholder takes a small bulb of 15 W maximum, to be purchased separately; a G9 LED gives off little heat. The IP54 rating protects it from dust and water splashes, which makes it suitable for planting directly in a flower bed.

Planting the spike

Plant it 0.5 or 1 m from the subject to be lit, in loose soil. Protect the cable with a sheath as far as the waterproof junction box. Class I appliance: make sure to provide an earth connection.
