About this light

White cone-shaped outdoor wall light, mounted on a cylindrical base fixed to the wall. Its aluminium head directs the light of a GU10 bulb downwards, to illuminate a doorstep, a letterbox or a step. It is intended for spots protected from driving rain: porch, canopy, covered terrace.

Description

Conical head and cylindrical base

The Gas echoes the silhouette of a small workshop lamp: a white aluminium cone, wider at the bottom, mounted on a round base fixed to the wall. The lower opening, rimmed in grey, reveals the bulb. The light goes only downwards, which avoids lighting up the neighbours' windows.

GU10 bulb and sheltered installation

It takes a GU10 bulb, not included, with a power of 28 W. A wide-beam GU10 LED lights a doorstep better than a narrow spot. With an IP43 rating, it is protected from falling rain but not from splashes from every direction: install it under a canopy, in a porch or under an overhanging roof. Class I: earth wire required.

Compact size for an entrance

It measures 11.5 cm wide, 9.5 cm high and projects 15 cm from the wall, and weighs 0.32 kg. Place it above or beside the door, about 1.80 to 2 m from the ground, so that the cone points at the doorstep. The same line is available in a black version and as a garden bollard light.
