About this light

A white outdoor wall light with a decorative grille, the Rex-3 places in front of its opal diffuser a pierced front with two arched cut-outs facing each other to form an hourglass. Light shines through these openings and through the slots at the top and bottom: the pattern is clearly visible once lit. At 25 cm wide, it lights up an entrance, a gate or a garden wall and is sold without a bulb.

Description

Hourglass-shaped pierced front

The Rex-3 takes the curved housing of the series, but its aluminium front is cut out: two arches face each other in the centre and reveal the opal white diffuser, plus a slot at the top and bottom. It is the most decorative of the three versions. Two side screws hold the front in place; body in aluminium, metal and plastic, all in white.

Light shaped by the grille

The E27 lampholder, rated for 60 W, comes empty: choose a frosted LED bulb so that the diffuser lights up evenly behind the grille. When switched on, the wall light clearly shows the pattern of its cut-outs, more graphic than the Rex-1 with its open frame. With IP54 protection, it withstands rain and is not affected by dust, whether the wall is exposed or covered.

Size and installation

At 25 cm wide, 12 cm high and projecting 13 cm, it remains compact at 0.6 kg. The pattern is best seen at eye level: around 1.60 to 1.70 m, on a boundary wall or next to a garden gate.
