A half-lantern in cast aluminium

Seen from the front, the Stroud looks like a lantern cut in two and fixed to the wall. The flat cap forms a rounded peak above the diffuser; at the bottom, two horizontal rings encircle the base, one of them letting a band of light through. The white opal polycarbonate contrasts with the black structure.

Class II, IP44 and E27 bulb

Class II means double insulation: there is no earth wire to connect. IP44 protects it from splashes and rain, on an exposed facade as well as under a porch. It takes an E27 bulb of up to 60 W, sold separately; a globe-shaped warm white LED fills the diffuser nicely.

Size and mounting height

24 cm high and 25 cm wide, it projects only 14 cm from the wall: a compact size, ideal on either side of a front door or above a letterbox. Install it at around 1.70 m from the ground to light the threshold without causing glare. It weighs just 0.9 kg. The Stroud bollard light of the same model extends the look into the garden.
