Description

A spotlight head on a bracket

Tommy has the look of a miniature stage spotlight: a disc ringed with a ribbed rim, closed by a clear glass that lets you see the lamp. It is held by a bracket fixed to a small round wall plate, with a tightening knob on the side and a looped cable running to the head. The white finish covers the whole fitting, including the plate.

GX53 cap and adjustable beam

The head takes a GX53 lamp, the flat disc format, of up to 10 W. The retailer describes the head as fully adjustable: you can aim the beam downwards to light a doorstep, or upwards to sweep across a wall or a tree. IP66 rating: total protection against dust and resistance to powerful water jets, so it can be fitted on a wall exposed to driving rain or within reach of a sprinkler. Class II.

Dimensions

Allow for 15 cm wide, 12.2 cm high and 16.5 cm deep, weighing 0.69 kg. Leave enough clearance around the head so that it can pivot without touching the wall or a gutter.
