About this light

The black version of the Gas wall light: an aluminium cone sitting on a round base, directing the light of a GU10 bulb down towards the ground. The black finish keeps it discreet on a dark façade or cladding, and very graphic on a white wall. It suits a front door under a canopy, a garage or a covered terrace.

Description

A black cone on a wall plate

The body consists of a cylindrical base fixed to the wall and a tapered aluminium head, whose base opens downwards. The black finish brings out the simple shape of this metal lampshade, like a miniature factory lamp.

Light directed towards the ground

The cone concentrates the light beneath the wall light: steps, doorstep, house number plate. The GU10 cap takes a bulb to be bought separately, of 28 W according to the data sheet; outdoors, a 3000 K LED gives a crisp light. IP43 withstands falling rain, but not water splashing from the side: keep it for a wall sheltered by an overhanging roof, a porch or a covered pergola. Class I with earth.

On a pillar or above a door

11.5 cm wide, 9.5 cm high, 15 cm projection and 0.32 kg: it takes up little space on a pillar or a door frame. Fixed at around 2 m, above a house number or a lock, it makes them legible at night. Two wall lights framing a garage door give more even lighting.
