The black cover hides the upper part and ends in an arch above the opal diffuser. A few screws remain visible around the edge. The housing is made of resin and plastic; the retailer states that it is resistant to water, dust, corrosion and temperature variations.

Downward lighting and IP66

With the visor, the light does not shine upwards and does not dazzle the neighbours. The E27 lampholder takes a bulb of up to 23 W, not included: a warm white LED bulb with an E27 cap will do the job. The IP66 rating protects it from dust and water jets, even on a façade exposed to driving rain. Class II.

Mounting on a façade or low wall

It is 23 cm high and projects 9 cm from the wall, and weighs 0.8 kg. Fix it with the visor at the top, about 1.80 m above a front door, or lower down on a low wall to light a path.
