A black spotlight on an articulated bracket
Seen in profile, the black Minitommy looks like a small torch hung on the wall: a short barrel, a glass lens at the front, and a visible cable looping behind the head. A screw is visible on the joint between the bracket and the backplate to hold the chosen angle. The whole unit is made of plastic and resin and weighs 0.5 kg.
Focused light, rain and water jets
The light source is a GU10 bulb of 6 W at most. The beam of a GU10 is directional, better suited to highlighting a detail than to general lighting of a terrace. IP66 rating: dust cannot enter the housing and it withstands water jets, including those from a garden hose. It is therefore suitable for an unsheltered wall, on the street side as well as the garden side.
Wall fixing and mounting height
The fitting measures 12 × 12.2 cm on the front and projects 12 cm. Class II: no earth terminal to wire. Placed at knee height and angled downwards, it marks out a path or an outdoor staircase; placed higher and turned towards the sky, it draws a cone of light on the wall.
