Small black ringed cylinder
The black tube has two rings, one at the top and one in the middle, which divide it visually. The rectangular back plate holds it off the wall. At the bottom, clear glass protects the light source. On a white wall, the black draws a graphic line; against dark stone, the wall light blends away.
Two strokes of light, IP44 rating
Its two GU10 lampholders take bulbs of up to 35 W. The upward and downward beams highlight the wall above and below the wall light, without flooding the whole garden with light: this is marker and façade lighting. Protected against water splashes from all directions, it can be installed outdoors, preferably under an overhanging roof that limits run-off.
Fixing and recommended height
It is 21 cm high and 6.5 cm wide, and projects 11 cm from the wall; at 0.72 kg, it can be mounted without reinforcement on a wooden post or a masonry wall. For a door, place it level with the top of the door frame, or at about 1.70 m from the ground: the downward beam lights the lock and the steps, while the upward one highlights the frame.
