This swan-neck lantern outdoor wall light recalls the silhouette of old-fashioned street lamps: a wall plate, a curved arm and a conical shade beneath which hangs a clear globe. Its black finish veined with gold gives it a patinated look. It suits the front of an period house, a gate or a courtyard wall. It takes an E27 bulb.

Description

Swan-neck arm and flared shade

The Cima is made of die-cast aluminium: a wall plate with rounded corners, decorated with small balls, carries a curved arm ending in a flared conical shade. Beneath the shade, a clear acrylic diffuser protects the bulb. The black and gold finish imitates aged bronze, with golden highlights in the recesses.

E27 bulb and IP43 rating

The E27 lampholder takes a bulb of up to 52 W, not included. A warm white LED filament bulb, visible through the clear globe, enhances the look of an old lantern. IP43 protects against rain falling at an angle and against small solid objects: the Cima is suited to a facade, preferably under an overhang if the wall is very exposed. Class I.

Dimensions and mounting height

The wall light measures 46 cm high, 28 cm wide and projects 40 cm from the wall: check that a shutter or door will not knock against it. It weighs 1.84 kg. Beside a front door, fix the plate at about 1.80 m to 2 m from the ground so that the globe sits at eye level or just above.
