Cage hung beneath a crook-shaped bracket arm

Here the lantern does not sit on its arm but hangs below it. The horizontal arm extends from a cut-out wall plate, curves up into a crook at its end and holds the cage by the centre of the roof. Each of the four glazed sides has four panes of wavy glass with a blown effect, held by black glazing bars. Cast aluminium throughout the structure.

Light towards the doorstep, IP23 rating

The E27 bulb, up to 60 W, is to be bought separately; choose a dimmable one if you want to vary the light with a dimmer. The IP23 rating protects it from rain falling up to 60° from the vertical: ideally install it under an overhanging roof or near a sheltered door, away from side splashes. The Class I housing is connected to the earth conductor.

Dimensions for a secondary entrance

33.5 cm high, 18.5 cm wide and projecting 24.5 cm from the wall, weighing 1.73 kg: it fits neatly beside a side door, a garden gate or a garage door. Allow about 2 m between the ground and the bracket arm so that the lantern stays above head height.
