About this light

Black drop lantern wall light: the Canterbury cage hangs from a scrolled bracket, projecting 33 cm from the wall. Cast aluminium and textured glass with glazing bars, to light a door under a porch, a covered gallery or a sheltered entrance. It is 40.5 cm high and takes an E27 bulb.

Description

Scrolled bracket and hanging lantern

The vertical backplate carries a straight arm ending in a crook, supported by a strut; scrolls at the top and bottom decorate the bracket. The lantern hangs from it by its four-sided hipped roof. Its slightly flared sides frame wavy glass, divided into panes by black glazing bars.

IP43 rating: a wall light for sheltered facades

The IP43 rating protects it from rain falling at an angle and from small foreign bodies. It is fitted to the facade; a roof overhang, porch or gallery keeps it clear of driving rain. The E27 lampholder accepts 60 W maximum; bulb not included. With a dimmable bulb, the wall light can be controlled by a dimmer. Class I, must be connected to earth.

A projection of 33 cm

40.5 cm high, 21.5 cm wide, 2.47 kg, and above all a 33 cm projection: it is the deepest of the Canterbury wall lights. Leave enough room for the door leaf or the neighbouring shutter, and choose wall plugs suited to this weight.
