Scrolls, leaves and tinted glass
The C-shaped arm curls from the wall plate down to the base of the lantern and ends in a spiral beneath it. At the top, stylised leaves surround a finial. The body is cast aluminium and the panes are textured amber-tinted glass; the British retailer describes a hand-finished aged bronze patina: in the photo, the edges pick up coppery highlights on an almost black background.
Lighting an entrance, rated IP44
A single E27 lampholder, for a bulb of up to 60 W, not supplied with the wall light. A 2700 K filament LED keeps the look of a flame behind the amber glass. The IP44 rating protects it from showers: it can stay on an exposed wall or under a porch. Fitted with a dimmable bulb, it can be used with a dimmer. Class I appliance, to be connected to earth.
Space taken on the wall
It measures 22.5 cm wide, projects 22 cm and weighs 2.88 kg, which keeps it discreet along a narrow path. For a single door, one wall light on one side is enough; for a double door, fit one on each side, with the centre of the lantern at roughly eye level.
