Copenhagen outdoor wall light in silver stainless steel, glass globe and tiered roof

Silver stainless steel, three-tier roof

The body is made of stainless steel in a metallic silver finish, a material chosen by the manufacturer to stand up well to the weather. The round cap flares out widely and is topped by two smaller rings, a tiered design typical of Nordic harbour lanterns. The clear glass globe, held in place by fine rods, lets the bulb show through.

Light directed towards the threshold

The roof directs most of the light downwards, onto the threshold, the steps and the lock. Thanks to its IP44 rating, the wall light withstands rain: an exposed façade or the underside of a canopy are both suitable. The E27 lampholder takes a maximum of 60 W and the bulb is not supplied; a 2700 K filament LED looks pleasant seen through the glass.

Dimensions and installation

It is 21.8 cm wide and projects 26 cm: take this projection into account in a narrow passage. Its 1.8 kg is easily fixed with wall plugs suited to the surface. Position it at about 1.80 m above the ground, next to the door. The fitting is Class I: it must be connected with an earth wire.
