Upward lantern in black die-cast aluminium
The body is pressure die-cast aluminium with a black finish. The arm springs from a rectangular backplate, curls into a scroll beneath the lantern and ends in a downward-pointing tip. Above it, the square cage holds four panes of transparent glass, topped by a four-sided, slightly curved cap and a finial. The manufacturer guarantees 10 years against corrosion.
One E27 bulb, light on four sides
The clear glass lets light through on all sides: the wall, the doorstep and the path are lit. The E27 lampholder accepts up to 60 W; bulb to be purchased separately, and a filament LED stays discreet behind the panes. It works with a dimmer when fitted with a dimmable LED. The IP44 rating protects it from rain, on an exposed façade as well as under a porch. Class I: the connection requires an earth wire.
Dimensions and fixing height
Allow for 20.5 cm width, 29.7 cm projection and 2.43 kg. As the lantern stands above the arm, fix the backplate a little lower than for an ordinary wall light, at about 1.60 m from the ground, so that the cap sits level with the top of the door.
