A black aluminium half-lantern

The die-cast black aluminium body forms half a lantern with angled sides: three transparent polycarbonate faces, a tiered cornice at the top and a rounded bracket base. The manufacturer guarantees its corrosion resistance for 10 years.

Light and IP44

The E27 bulb shines forwards and to the sides, and the nearby wall receives a halo of light. Maximum power: 60 W; the bulb is not included, and a filament LED still looks attractive behind the clear polycarbonate. Controlled by a dimmer, its light can be softened with a compatible bulb. IP44 rating: driving rain is no problem, so it can be installed on a façade without shelter.

Size and installation

It is 19 cm wide and weighs 1.75 kg, a weight that is easy to secure with wall plugs. Mount it at about 1.70 m above the ground; it must be earthed, as the fitting is Class I. Two half-lanterns on either side of a garage door or double door light the full width of the opening.
