Downing Street Verdigris Brass Outdoor Wall Lantern, 60 cm

Verdigris patina on solid brass

The lantern is made of solid brass, finished with a verdigris patina and then a protective wax. The blue-green shades vary with the relief, lighter on the dome and the finial. The clear glass body, set on a rounded base, shows the bulb without hiding it.

What you need to light it

No bulb is supplied: the E27 lampholder accepts up to 60 W, and the light can be used on a dimmer with a dimmable bulb. A 2700 K filament LED keeps the look of an old lantern. With its IP44 rating, rain is no problem, so it can be fitted on an exposed façade or under a porch. Earth connection required (Class I).

Dimensions and fixing

It measures 60 cm high and 17.5 cm wide, with a projection of only 13 cm from the wall. Its weight of 3.19 kg requires fixing to a solid surface or suitable wall plugs. Beside a door, place the top of the lantern slightly above the lintel.
