Holborn outdoor lantern wall light, dark bronze, 2 lights, 25.5 cm

Bronze-patinated brass, openwork cornice

The manufacturer describes it as a reproduction of a Georgian lantern, made entirely by hand in solid brass, then given a dark bronze patina. The rectangular body is glazed on the front and both sides; at the top, a gallery of vertical bars pierces the cornice, and small round feet finish the base.

Two candles behind the glass

Inside, two candle-shaped E14 lampholders each take a bulb of up to 40 W, not included. The circuit accepts a dimmer, with dimmable bulbs. LED filament flame bulbs keep the look of an old-fashioned lantern. The clear glass lets light out to the front and sides, along the wall. With an IP44 rating, the wall light can be installed outdoors, on a façade or under a porch.

Shallow but heavy

At 31 cm high, it projects only 11 cm from the wall, which keeps a narrow entrance clear. At 3.74 kg, fix it to solid masonry or use wall plugs suited to the surface. Position the top at around 1.80 to 2 m from the ground, next to the door. Earthed connection: Class I appliance.
