Polished chrome on solid brass
Like the rest of the series, this lantern is handmade from solid brass according to the manufacturer; here, it is chrome-plated and polished. The manufacturer also lists 304 stainless steel in its composition. Its shape recalls the London lanterns of the 1900s: a rectangular box with a flat back, three glazed sides, a cornice pierced with fine bars and small feet beneath the base.
Two flames visible through the glass
The two candle lampholders take E14 bulbs, 40 W maximum each; bulbs are not included. Being dimmable sockets, they can be adjusted with a dimmer. A clear LED flame bulb reproduces the effect of a candle, and the chrome reflects its glow. IP44 protects it from water splashes: an exposed exterior wall or a covered entrance are both suitable.
Dimensions and fixing
At 31 cm high and 11 cm deep, it sits flat against the wall. Its weight, 3.74 kg, calls for a secure fixing. To frame a door, fit one wall light on each side at the same height, around 1.70 m from the ground to the centre of the fitting. Class I: an earth connection is required.
