The piece borrows the head of the Hornbaek bollard light: a clear glass cylinder, three horizontal bands and a flat lid. It sets this on a conical shaft that tapers to a point at the bottom and angles away from the wall. The 304 stainless steel has a matt black paint finish, chosen, according to the retailer, to withstand bad weather well.

A raised point of light

The glass head takes an E27 bulb of up to 60 W, sold separately, with no dimming function. The light spreads all around the head, above the tip: it marks an entrance rather than lighting a large space. Rated IP44, the wall light can withstand rain on an exposed façade.

Wall fixing and projection

It projects 20 cm and weighs 1.5 kg, a light load for a wall plug suited to the surface. An earth conductor is required (Class I). Position it at around 1.80 m above the ground, on either side of a door or on a gatepost.
