About this light

An LED outdoor wall light with motion sensor, the Tyfon sets a globe-shaped head on a rectangular backplate. The sensor housed beneath the backplate switches the light on as you pass, making it a good choice for a front door, a garage or a side passage. The 12 W LED is integrated and supplied with the light.

Description

A grey sphere on a wall-mounted base

The body is made of grey aluminium with a slightly textured grain. A sphere split by a fine horizontal groove rests on a flat arm fixed to the wall. Beneath the sphere, a clear glass pane protects the LED. The motion sensor can be spotted by its small round lens at the bottom of the backplate.

Lighting triggered by movement

The light exits from the underside of the globe and is directed towards the ground in front of the façade. The 12 W LED source is integrated: nothing extra to buy, but nothing to replace either on the day it wears out. With its IP44 rating, the wall light withstands rain and can be fitted directly on an exposed wall or under a canopy. Class I: it must be connected to earth.

Size and positioning

It measures 18 cm high by 12 cm wide and projects 16 cm from the wall. For the sensor to detect arrivals properly, position it at head height or a little above, around 1.80 to 2 m, beside the door rather than above it.
