Hythe outdoor lantern wall light in antique bronze with scroll arm

Galvanised steel, antique bronze finish

The frame is made of steel. According to the retailer, it is hot-dip galvanised before painting to slow rust, then given an Old Bronze finish, a very dark brown that is almost black. All four sides show bubbled glass; the roof is edged with an openwork frieze. As for corrosion, the manufacturer covers the lantern for 2 years.

Front door and small E14 lamp

A hinged door on the front gives access to the lampholder for changing the bulb. The E14 cap accepts up to 60 W; no bulb is supplied. On a dimmer, the light can be adjusted, provided the lamp allows it: a dimmable LED flame bulb suits this lantern well. Rated IP44, it withstands rain and splashes, on an exposed façade as well as under a porch.

Projection and weight

It projects 19 cm and weighs 2.3 kg: screw it into a solid wall. Class I, therefore earthed. Allow roughly 1.70 m from the ground, or the height of the top of the door.
