Caris black outdoor wall light with clear glass globe, E27

Glass ball on a black support

The black metal support combines a round wall plate, a short arm and a cylindrical sleeve that holds the lampholder. Above it, the clear glass globe, 20 cm in diameter, surrounds the bulb. The whole measures 33 cm high and recalls the ball lanterns found at house entrances.

E27 lampholder up to 40 W

The wall light takes an E27 bulb of up to 40 W, not included. As the glass is clear, an LED filament bulb gives the prettiest effect; choose a 2700 K shade for a soft light, or an opal bulb to avoid glare. IP44 rating: rain is no problem, so it can be fixed to an exposed exterior wall or under a porch.

Projection and weight

The globe projects 23 cm from the wall: leave enough clearance near a door that opens outwards. The wall light weighs 0.5 kg. Class I: connect the earth wire when wiring to the 230 V supply. Install it at about 1.70 to 1.80 m above the ground so that the globe stays above eye level.
