A lantern cut down the middle

Imagine the square lantern from the range cut in two and fixed flat on the facade: what remains is a front face and two angled side panels beneath a pitched roof. The moulded black polymer does not rust and withstands knocks; the clear polycarbonate panes cope with an impact better than glass. Designed for coastal climates, it benefits from a 20-year anti-corrosion guarantee according to the manufacturer.

Bulb and exposure

E27 lampholder, up to 60 W. The bulb is to be purchased separately; if you choose a dimmable one, you can lower the light with a dimmer. A warm white LED, pear-shaped or filament, remains clearly visible behind the clear panes. The IP44 rating makes it suitable for a facade lashed by rain, even without a canopy.

Low projection, simple installation

With a depth of 14 cm and a width of 20.5 cm, it leaves the way clear along the wall. It weighs 2.61 kg. Being Class II, it is wired without an earth conductor. Position it at about 1.80 m from the ground, on the lock side.
