AISI 304 stainless steel and a cage around the glass
The body is made of AISI 304 stainless steel, a grade commonly used in outdoor fittings for its corrosion resistance. The diffuser is a clear glass tube, held by vertical uprights and encircled by several rings that form a protective cage. At the top, a round cap overhangs slightly; at the bottom, the lantern rests on a horizontal double arm screwed to a circular backplate.
Light all around the cylinder
The E27 bulb, standing upright in the cylinder, lights in all directions: the wall, the ground in front of the door and the surroundings. The maximum permitted power is 60 W; an LED heats the glass less and uses little energy. The bulb is not included. Thanks to its IP44 rating, the wall light withstands rain and can be fitted uncovered on a wall.
Projection and mounting height
With a projection of 17.4 cm and a width of 15 cm, it protrudes further than a flat-backed lantern: avoid placing it in a narrow passage where people brush against the wall. It weighs 2 kg. Mounted at about 1.70 to 1.80 m from the ground, next to the door, it lights visitors' faces and the lock.
