The Parish lantern is made of black cast aluminium, with clear glass sides held by slim uprights. The roof with curved slopes carries a spike finial, which is repeated beneath the base. The straight arm that supports it is underlined by a circular arc, then joins a moulded wall plate.

Lighting a front door

An E27 lampholder takes a bulb of up to 60 W, to be purchased separately; with a dimmable bulb, the wall light can be connected to a dimmer. A clear 2700 K filament LED remains visible through the glass and keeps the look of an old-fashioned lantern. With its IP44 rating, it withstands rain and can be fitted on an exposed façade as well as under a porch.

Dimensions and connection

Allow for 48 cm in height, 23 cm in width and a 30 cm projection from the wall, for 2.25 kg. The light fitting is Class I: the earth wire must be connected. Placed beside a door, with the top of the lantern at about 1.80 m from the ground, it lights the lock and the steps without dazzling.
