Small Philadelphia outdoor wall light, upward lantern in bronze, 43 cm

A 1900s lantern in a reduced size

This small model features the range's ornamental details: an oval moulded wall plate, a scrolled crook arm curling beneath the lantern, a leaf-decorated cornice and a pointed finial. The cast aluminium, patinated in a dark antique bronze with coppery highlights, frames champagne-tinted glass panels whose rippled texture blurs the outline of the bulb.

Accent and marker lighting

It takes an E27 bulb of up to 60 W, sold separately; an LED uses far less energy for a similar result. The tinted glass reduces the light transmitted: this is marker lighting for a doorway, not a floodlight. Its IP44 rating allows it to withstand showers on a façade. A dimmer can control its light, with a dimmable LED. Class I appliance, earthed.

17 cm wide, 24 cm projection

Weighing 2.07 kg, it is easily fixed to a masonry wall. Its narrow width leaves room to install it between a door and a window. Position it slightly above eye level, at around 1.70 m.
