Parish half-lantern outdoor wall light in black, 42 cm

The Parish lantern in half-shell form

The clear front panels, framed by black uprights, form the lantern; the flat back rests directly against the facade. You will find the curved sloping roof topped with a point, and a small finial beneath the base. The body is made of cast aluminium; the clear panels are polycarbonate, not glass.

Light source and protection

It takes an E27 cap bulb of up to 60 W, which must be purchased separately, and can be connected to a dimmer with a dimmable bulb. The IP44 rating allows installation on a wall exposed to the weather. Choose a frosted LED: in a narrow passage, people walk very close to the lantern and a bare source would dazzle.

Slim projection, flat mounting

At 42 cm high and 20 cm wide, it projects only 13.7 cm and weighs 1.51 kg. Its flat back sits directly against the wall, in front of a junction box with an earth connection (Class I). It can be fitted lower than a wall light with an arm, for example at shoulder height along an outdoor staircase.
