Gooseneck arm and blown glass
The arm springs from a rectangular backplate and curls into a crook to carry the lantern by a ring. The round cap is edged with a row of beads, the domed clear glass globe is mouth-blown according to Netlighting, and a small finial finishes the bottom. Cast aluminium body, patinated bronze finish with coppery highlights on the edges.
Light and outdoor performance
The IP44 rating protects the lantern from rain and splashes: exposed façade, entrance, garden wall. It works with a single E27 bulb, 100 W maximum, not included in the package. Dimmable, if the chosen bulb allows it. A flame-shaped or pear-shaped filament LED remains visible through the globe and keeps the spirit of an old lantern.
A 23 cm projection to allow for
The lantern is 18.5 cm wide and projects 23 cm from the wall: check the clearance of a shutter or a door that opens outwards. It weighs 1.64 kg. Class I appliance, to be connected to earth. This medium size suits the side of a front door; the small version in the range is better suited to narrower walls.
