A compact version of the St Louis, this small outdoor wall lantern hangs from a curved arm fixed to a wall plate. Its rounded glass globe with a rippled sheen is topped with a beaded cap and finished with a point. At 32.5 cm high and weighing 1.06 kg, it suits a gatepost, a side door or a garden shed without crowding the wall.

Description

A bracket lantern in a reduced size

It has the range's crook, the ring holding the lantern and the round cap with a row of beads. The clear glass globe, mouth-blown, takes on a slightly rippled look in the photo that catches the light. The body is cast aluminium with a patinated bronze finish that combines a very dark brown base with coppery edges.

E27 bulb and use in the rain

Thanks to its IP44 rating, this garden wall light withstands driving rain and splashes; it suits an exposed wall as well as the underside of a canopy. E27 lampholder, power limited to 60 W, bulb not included. A dimmer can control the lantern if the bulb is dimmable. For everyday use, a low-energy LED is enough to find the lock or light a few steps.

Dimensions and connection

It is 17 cm wide and projects 21.5 cm from the wall. On a pillar, centre the wall plate and place the top of the lantern slightly above eye level. It must be connected to earth, as the fitting is Class I.
