Westminster outdoor lantern wall light in antique brass, openwork roof
About this light
Westminster outdoor half lantern in solid brass with an antique brass finish. It is recognisable by its rounded roof topped with a chimney-style crown, pierced with decorative openings. Three clear glass panes show off the bulb. At 37.5 cm high and 26 cm wide, it suits the façade of a grand house, a carriage entrance or a large entrance hall.
Guarantees and services
An openwork crown on a rounded roof
The top of the lantern recalls a chimney: a vertical band cut with small pointed-arch openings, set on a roof with rounded shoulders. Below, the rectangular body has one glass pane at the front and two at the sides. The brass back plate continues the tone. The body is made of solid brass, handmade according to Netlighting, in an antique brass finish.
Entrance lighting and IP44 protection
Its IP44 rating protects it from showers and splashes, whether on an exposed wall or under a porch. It takes an E27 bulb of up to 100 W, to be purchased separately. It can be connected to a dimmer, if the bulb supports it. A pear-shaped filament LED bulb reproduces the look shown in the photo.
3.6 kg to be fixed to a load-bearing wall
The lantern projects 12 cm. At 3.6 kg, it should be plugged into brick, stone or concrete rather than into a dry lining or external insulation. Class I: the earth wire must be connected. Placed on either side of a door, it frames the entrance at head height or a little above.
