About this light

This half-lantern outdoor wall light takes its shape from a lighthouse lamp cut in two: an opal glass cylinder, banded with strips of brushed steel, sits flat against the wall. Projecting just 11.4 cm, it fits neatly beside a front door or along a narrow passage, where a classic lantern would stick out too far.

Description

A lighthouse lamp in brushed steel

The brushed steel body consists of a domed two-tier cap, horizontal bands and vertical uprights that hold the glass. The slightly opal glass diffuser softens the bulb and spreads a diffused light rather than a bright point. The flat semicircular back is designed for wall mounting.

Light and outdoor durability

An E27 lampholder takes a bulb of up to 60 W, not included; an LED bulb is also suitable, for example in 2700 K for a soft white light. IP44 rating: the wall light withstands rain, on a façade or under a canopy. Class I: connection to earth is mandatory.

Dimensions and installation

28.8 cm high, 17.8 cm wide, weighing 1.25 kg. When fixing it beside a door, position it at around 1.70 m above the ground to light the lock and visitors' faces without glare.
