Patinated bronze, bubbled glass and scroll
The British Bronze shade covers the entire cast aluminium structure: dark brown veined with copper, softer than the black version against stone or brick. The urn-shaped body is closed by clear granite-effect glass in which small air bubbles can be seen. An openwork band runs beneath the roof, a finial completes the bottom, and a scroll links the lantern to its oval backplate.
What you need to plan for the lighting
The wall light takes three E14 bulbs of 60 W maximum each, not supplied. We recommend warm white LED candle bulbs, which produce little heat in a closed lantern. A dimmer can control all the bulbs together if the bulbs allow it. Rated IP44, it withstands rain on a façade or under a porch; it is Class I, so it must be connected to earth.
Projection and wall mounting
The lantern is 62.2 cm high and projects 32.5 cm from the wall: keep this space clear near a door that opens outwards. For a wide entrance or a garage door, a wall light on each side balances the façade. Elstead offers a 3-year anti-corrosion guarantee.
