About this light

The Carson wall light takes the metal-ribbon sphere of the pendant lights and scales it to a wall: a 25.5 cm wide openwork globe in an aged iron finish surrounds a bubbled glass cylinder. It complements the Carson pendant lights on a terrace, or lights a garden door or courtyard wall on its own.

Description

A sphere on a curved arm

The globe is held by a rounded arm that extends from a round wall plate. Its flat bands cross at different angles and let plenty of light through. In the centre, the bubbled glass cylinder protects the lampholder; it is accessed from below to change the bulb.

An E27 light source

E27 lampholder up to 60 W; bulb not included. A clear bulb brings out the bubbles in the glass. A wall dimmer is suitable, provided it is used with a dimmable bulb. IP44 means it can be installed on a façade, whether exposed or sheltered. Class I.

Allow for the projection

26.7 cm high, 25.5 cm wide and projecting 31 cm: leave enough clearance in a narrow passage. It weighs 1.26 kg. Fitted at around 1.80 m from the ground, it stays out of reach of shoulders.
