About this light

This small round LED outdoor wall light in silver aluminium, the Basilio takes the form of a domed disc pierced by two curved slots, either side of a central band. The light escapes through these openings and grazes the wall to the left and right. With 300 lm of warm white light, it serves as a light marker along a staircase, a path or a façade.

Description

Aluminium disc with two openings

The round body, in silver-coloured aluminium, features two symmetrical arched cut-outs. They let two side beams of light filter through, visible in the photo as two halos gliding across the wall. The surface remains matt and smooth between the two slots.

Integrated LED and IP65 rating

The 3 W LED source is integrated and supplied: no bulb to buy. It produces 300 lm at 3000 K, a warm white. The intensity is fixed. The IP65 rating allows it to withstand water jets, on a wall exposed to the weather as well as next to a terrace that gets hosed down.

Where to install it

Its grazing light is ideal for marking routes: place a Basilio every two or three steps of an outdoor staircase, or at regular intervals along a boundary wall, about thirty centimetres above the ground to light the way. Its power supply accepts 85 to 265 V: it connects directly to the mains.
