Sloping roof, shepherd's crook and latch door
The lantern combines a moulded base, a glazed body with slim uprights and a sloping roof topped with a small chimney and a shepherd's crook. The front door swings on hinges and is secured by a latch, which makes changing the bulb simpler. The clear outer glass, dotted with bubbles, hints at an opal glass tube that conceals the light source. The composite body, tinted weathered zinc, imitates aged metal.
An E27 lampholder under opal glass
It takes an E27 bulb of up to 60 W, not included, and accepts a dimmer with a dimmable LED. Thanks to the opal sleeve, a standard LED does not dazzle the eye. Rated IP44, it suits a façade exposed to showers as well as a covered porch. Class I: the circuit must include an earth connection.
Medium size, weighing 3.24 kg
At 19 cm wide and 48.7 cm high, this model fits on either side of a classic front door, where the large version would be overpowering. The weight of 3.24 kg remains modest: wall plugs suited to the surface are sufficient. Position the centre of the lantern about 1.70 m above the ground.
