Solid brass lantern in the style of a gas lamp

According to the distributor's data sheet, the body is made of solid brass, patinated in a coppery brown sienna shade. Clear bubbled glass panes, divided by a crossbar, surround three candle lampholders. The pyramid roof ends in a chimney and a finial; the square base and rectangular wall backplate complete this lantern from the Hinkley Bingham collection.

Three E14 lampholders, bulbs not included

The light takes three E14 bulbs of 60 W maximum each, sold separately. Clear LED flame bulbs show off the bubbled glass; choose them in 2700 K for a yellow light close to a real flame. The light can be used with a dimmer, provided you choose dimmable bulbs. IP44: the lantern withstands rain on a façade as well as under a porch.

Large size and weight

53.3 cm high, 20.3 cm wide and projecting 26 cm from the wall: reserve it for a sufficiently wide façade or a house entrance. It weighs 4.95 kg, which calls for a secure fixing in masonry. Centre it at about 1.80 m from the ground, beside the door.
