Satin black frame, ribbed core
The satin black absorbs reflections and leaves all the attention on the square opening in the centre. Inside this recess, a sloping panel with fine grooves catches the light coming from above and reflects it back without revealing the source. The body is made of aluminium, combined with frosted glass according to the supplier; a little light also escapes from underneath.
E14 LED lamps supplied, for outdoor use
The E14 cap LED lamps are supplied with the wall light: nothing extra to buy, and they can be replaced when the time comes. The supplier states that it is compatible with a dimmer, which is handy for lowering the light in the evening. Thanks to its IP44 rating, the wall light can withstand rain on a facade wall or under a porch. It is Class I, so it must be connected to the earth conductor.
Fixing and positioning
The light weighs 2.52 kg and measures 22.9 cm in height and width, with a projection of 10.2 cm: choose fixings suited to the type of wall, especially with hollow brick. A height of 1.60 to 1.80 m from the ground lights a doorstep well; on a long wall, space several of them evenly.
